I wrote this song for Denise and I to sing together. I thought I had a winner!
At the time the Christian Radio stations didn't want to touch it. Black churches
didn't want to book us because I was white, white churches didn't want to book
us because she was black. Some Pastors were afraid that people would take us for a
married couple! We sang it at Genoa Baptist with full video behind us
and that Pastor and his congregation loved it. We sang it at The Martin Luther
King Center for the Kng Holiday, but we got a mixed reaction. This is one of the
few songs both my younger girls sing on together (background).

If you listen closely you can hear some Beatle influences here.
Mr. Larry Cook is a genious who has played and recorded and
produced most of my songs. Larry is always great to work
with - he knew the feel I wanted on this one instinctively.

this semi-autobiographical song. I have no idea why they
wanted this song centered around my early life in
Columbus, Ohio. This is Pastor John Brock's Favorite
song of mine (who knows why).
