Gary Holman is the Founder of New Hope Community Fellowship

Gary was a church pastor in the Westerville, Ohio area for over 20 years.

Gary Holman has been active in ministry since 1975. He was an announcer and DJ at WCVO Radio from 1975 to 1977; He syndicated his own radio show, "Stonehill Sounds Music" introducing "Christian Rock Music" with such artists as Lamb, Keith Green, Randy Matthews and Second Chapter of Acts. When WSFJ Television, which is now (PAX TV) began in Lancaster, Ohio, Gary was an on air personality and when the station moved to Newark, Ohio he continued on with them adding additional hats. He was Regional Promotions Manager for Heartland Records, working with such artists as Prodigal and Candy Stanton. Gary helped direct The Lighthouse Coffeehouse in Hartselle, Alabama where he worked with artists like, Randy Matthews, Keith Green and Larry Norman. Around the same time Gary help to pioneer Gospel Clowning with his character "Pockets The Singing Clown", which he ministered as for nearly 20 years. As Pockets he recorded several albums of original music and hosted a children’s TV show, "Pockets Place". As Pockets, Gary travelled the nation and did missions work in Ukraine. In 1985 he became Promotions Director and on-air personality for WRFD Radio. Millions of children across the eastern United States met Gary as "Gary Lee" as a magician and ventriloquist with The Officer Phil School Safety Programs, over an eight year period; all the while he was Worship Leader and Associate Pastor at Grace Chapel Community Church over the course of 13 years.

Gary Holman is also an accomplished singer/published songwriter and has recorded and produced several albums of original music. He was selected as Gospel Soloist of the State of Ohio in 1984 and won second place in the same statewide competition in 1998. Congregations around the world use many of his worship songs. In 1998, Gary also established Lamb's Tales Music, as a record label / music publisher. He is a member of BMI and CCLI License holder.

He founded New Hope Community Fellowship in March of 1999. Gary is ordained through The Yeshua Evangelistic Association. He and his wife Tammy, reside in Westerville along with one of his four daughters. He currently is serving as Worship Leader at Joy Christian Church in Westerville and Senior Pastor of New Hope Community Fellowship and is an Administrative Assistant with Schoedingers Funeral Services.

His current positions within NHCF are; Senior Elder - Pastoral Care -Care Ministries-Teaching/Leadership - Worship Leader -Counseling - Elder Team.

James Smith; Elder of NHCF, James (as Pastor Gary calls him) brings youth, but also incredible spiritual maturity to the spiritual leaders-ship.

Sherman Frierson; Elder has been under the caring hand of God all his life. He has been through the Valley of the Shadow of Death; he has battled demons that are defeating so many young men in our Nation and by God's grace has emerged victorious over them. Sherman's life shines as a testimony of what can do in a surrendered life. 

New Hope Community Fellowship is fortunate to have such strong spiritual leaders.  In our Church the Elder Team is responsible for the spiritual direction and welfare of the Church.
